Propel

About the original: I work from photos that provide a reference for my work, and I either take these photos myself or occasionally model for them. The location behind the inspiration for this image was on a hike up Ben Stirav in the Scottish Highlands, on the descent I was lucky enough to firstly get some sun in Scotland, and secondly to pass by some incredibly clear, though very cold mountain springs. I'm the model for the piece - I had recently had the huge privilege of having some close friends volunteer to nude model for me, and it felt only right that I should do myself what I had asked others to do for me.
