About the Artist

Constance Regardsoe was born in Preston, lived briefly in Malaysia and now resides in Ealing, London. She has a long standing fixation with the human face and form.

Painting in the contemporary realism style, her portraits aim to be true to life, though she pays close attention to the angular elements of the facial structure, allowing them to come to the fore of her compositions.

Constance's paintings often try to capture a sense of fragility or vulnerability. She also uses painting to explore the transition from childhood to adulthood. Constance is currently a student at the Art Academy London and is taking on commissions.

The painting shows personality and has come out beautifully. She discussed options for sizing with me and gave me her professional opinions on the format. This is the first piece of art I have received and I am over the moon with it. I would highly recommend Connie’s work if you are looking for something special.”
